The project required drilling into waste emplacement areas to a depths ranging from 70 m to 117 m at the Duralie Coal Mine Site NSW.
The previous drilling contractor was unable to reach required depths.
Purpose: Collect samples for waste characterisation (Laboratory analysis) to support a geochemistry assessment with a specific focus on potentially acid forming material, and to install a piezometer to monitor recovery ground water levels and quality.
